Spring is on its way soon. Music manifested itself this week without struggle, offering beauty and refuge, a moment to breathe after several hectic weeks. The Moog Guitar, which is sometimes a difficult collaborator, let music flow. Even its sometimes noisy circuitry interacts with the wah pedal here in a voice that's pleasingly like a haze of synth noise generator through a ladder filter. (Most timbres are more like distant strings and low flutes.)

The audiences for the livestream have been smaller in number, but very large in their focus and attention. That contributes a lot to music making itself present, I think.

This week's improvisation is dedicated to the visual art of Joan Waltemath. Thank you for listening!
