about

Halloween, Samhain, All Hallows Eve, harvest festival...it's interesting to look at the long history of the rituals we use to mark our way through the year. It's good to be here to participate in them with you.

This one feels hard to summarize--there's a bit of line and pickup noise, but it fits as part of the texture. Pieces seem unhurried about getting where they're going, but they get there. The larger reverbs can feel spacious and cold, but the sounds seem close and warm. Maybe it's ideal for our season now.

I've also contributed to other fine music worth your time: the glorious new record by The Rutabega theseknottylines.bandcamp.com/album/leading-up-to (on "gone") and a collaboration with good friend Joshua Wayne Hensley, in a tribute to Enya: prfmonthlytributeseries.bandcamp.com/track/how-can-i-keep-from-singing

I hope you're doing well and taking care of yourself. This performance is dedicated to the work of Kishio Suga. Thank you for listening!
