about

Winter approaches, but we've had a few days of sunlight and warmth. If you've gotten together with family, I hope that too has been warm and free of conflict and stress. If it hasn't been, I send you my best ambient wishes, and hopes for finding your equilibrium again quickly. More than ever, it seems important to support each other. (For this frequently consumer-oriented day of Black Friday, please do consider downloading this for free.)

This performance was a negotiation with the Moog Guitar, which is not a passive instrument, but a collaborator. It contributed its sustain and spectral harmonics, a Mellotron-like timbre in piece 2, and...some sustainer-pickup noise from time to time until the middle of piece 5. That manifests more as white-noise/wind than as line buzz, though, so perhaps isn't as distracting as normal guitar line noise.

This performance is dedicated to the visual work of Arturo Vermi. Thank you for listening!
