I hope that wherever you are, you're doing well and taking the best possible care of yourself. This week's performance turns away from the cold and dark outside--it seemed particularly interior while still dreaming of distant locations. The Fahey tuning seems to lend itself to a mood of peaceful reflection, an acceptance of what's going on. (One example is the noisy switch in track 6, which just becomes a natural part of the piece.) A surprising number of people showed up to listen, as well--thank you for being present!
