about

I hope that wherever you are, you're safe, warm, well, and taking good care of yourself during this winter holiday season.

The past few days have truly felt like winter here in the northeast. In a way, it's nice to have nowhere to go when it's as cold as it's been...though losing power is a strong reminder of how reliant we are on modernity.

This performance almost didn't happen--during soundcheck, the connecting software simply didn't work. I managed to reset it minutes before the performance started, and I expected the stress of getting ready to affect the music. To my surprise, the music entered placid and assured--we'd gotten through this, and it was time for the music to lead outward.

This week's performance is dedicated to the work of Geneviève Asse (awarewomenartists.com/en/artiste/genevieve-asse/). Thank you to the live audience, and thank you for listening now.
