The music this evening was present immediately, but it also took its time to reveal itself. These are long pieces, embracing silence and sustain. It's music to exist inside of for a while, particularly if you're looking for calm.

The calm is pervasive--following a continual struggle against sharp interruptions in waveforms, and the threat of unstable software in performance...the music just came into existence, easily. So let's enjoy it.
