I'd started this performance series with the thought of reaching out to others in lockdown and quarantine. While not all of us are still home-bound, there's still a lot of isolation, and maybe connecting online isn't the worst thing we could be doing.

This week...was another struggle, in some ways. Usually I'll change something between weeks--switching guitars, changing the patch, swapping out a pedal. Most times, well before I set up for the performance, I'll have a sense of which changes to make, or which instrument to use. This week, I kept most things the same, and used the Moog Guitar again. Sometimes that means a struggle to control both piercing high frequencies and the buildup of lower frequencies, and...this week was kind of that way. During the performance, I had the sense that it wasn't working overall, which was a disappointment. On listening back the next day, though, I think these create a kind of atmosphere for dreaming.
