Live improvisations for Internet streaming. March 16 was the first day of social isolation for a lot of people, and a lot of friends online were worried and anxious. I'd been working on quiet improvisations with guitar and this patch of delays, and offered to do a free performance for anyone who wanted to listen in, as a way of connecting with people, and offering something that might be calming and gentle while people's nerves are overwhelmed. This is the first of a series.

Listening back, the first piece fits within the mission of comforting ambience, while the second one moves even more slowly, moving into more ambiguous, unsettled territory. (It'd be easy to use the word "glacial.") In retrospect, there's a slowly unfolding sense of tension and resolution through the end of the long second piece.
