Much like last week, this week's improvisation reflects my mental experience this week, one of balancing between frustration, outrage, and dread on one side, and guardedly hopeful doing-what-needs-to-be-done. Today being the first day of Autumn, there's an atmosphere of looking back on summer, and looking ahead. We'll get through what we need to get through together.

The first three use the Univox with Fahey C tuning (well, really B tuning, so Bs and F#s with a C# on top); this tuning or these pickups aren't quite as happy with the KWB pedal, but things get a bit more flute-like when I switch to the Res-O-Glas and its Alumitones for 4-8. A lot of these seem to waver between minor and major; I did cut out some more jarring dissonances, though.
