about

The day before doing this performance, I did a live video improvisation for the PRF Camp-In (which can be found here: youtu.be/A7DwkilThpw). People enjoyed it, and it felt right. Those pieces are included as a bonus for downloading this collection.

The day of this performance felt a bit different--sure, different instrument and different fuzz pedal, but I wrestled with the sound more--levels getting progressively too low, and then too high and clipping. By the middle of the second piece, I felt the same thing I'd felt during the Camp-In, with the next note just presenting itself, and being right.

The atmosphere for this week...has some darker extremes, but also does resolve with more light. That's kind of where I've been this week psychologically (maybe with the resolution as a more hoped-for thing).

Thank you for listening!
