about

We've been through a lot this past week. Dread, relief, and now (at least for me) it looks like it's back to a kind of fatigued wariness. I learned about the latest outrages right before doing this week's performance, so I found myself wrestling with that, as well as some technical and practical issues.

I've been streaming to Twitch lately, and the most recent ones haven't had an audio stream. I should have this fixed for next week. Similarly, my Bluetooth foot switch is pairing with the laptop, but not recognized by Max. So this week had some hurdles. I also went with the Moog Guitar, an instrument that often makes its own harmonic choices--it's an opinionated collaborator, really. (That, of course, is one of the reasons I use it.)

The result was...not about the struggle, and more about creating a peaceful environment. Some rough edges show through (2, some of 6), but even then, there's light bouncing off them. I have to admit that I'm really fond of 3 and 5 from this one.

Thank you for listening!
