about

This week's improvisation is a return to the pedal steel, which has a voice and has intention--at least, that's my experience of it. Mid-performance, I was hearing dropouts as the CPU had increasing demands, but none of that appears in the recorded file. Even with that as a constraint on performance, there was a warmth to this one, and there was even an audience request for an encore (many thanks right back to myboyfriendthepilot.bandcamp.com).

Thank you for listening! I hope you're all doing well, and that you're having the best possible end of summer.
