The Solstice always seems to bring an emotional change. Things feel different now. Even with our long nights, those of us in the northern hemisphere are making our way toward the light and longer days.

This set of improvisations seemed to develop toward a place of stillness--they'd build a setting, and then inhabit it, with room for you to listen. It's winter observatory music.
